We’ve used this Coleman Queen bed set up several times when camping. On occasion I’ve had to add some air with the USB rechargeable air pump before bed time. What I love about it it is the comfort and at my age (72) the ease out of getting out of bed. It is fun to glam up the bed as well. After setting up the bed, I’ll add a mattress cover with elastic bottom, bed sheets, blanket & comforter. At the end of the bed I use the large plastic clip clamps to hold the bedding that hangs over the edge onto the frame legs. The side tables are easy to attach and the storage space under the bed is a plus.
It is heavier to tote around and the rollers on the bag may or may not make the ground or dirt surfaces at the campsite. And my wife who is a lighter sleeper has complained about the noise. To that end, I’m going to try a couple of the suggestions in the Q/A section: putting the air mattress in it’s own mattress bag & putting thin cardboard strips between the metal frame & bed material.
Overall, it’s a great tent camping bed & also one to bring out when there’s extra overnight guests at home.

Owned this cot for a few years now, use it 5 or 6 times a year. The last time i went to set it up, the collapsable valve for the air mattress had torn (unsure how/why) rendering the air mattress useless. The one-year warranty that it came with wasn't going to cover it, as is typical of most warranty situations. Still haven't decided if it is worth replacing, or if i'll just upgrade, or search for another solution.

While everything was intact and working as intended, it was a good sleeping experience (from a camping frame of reference). Buyer beware- the mattress material rubs against the fabric in a way that makes this even louder than your average air mattress. There are ways to fix this, but it requires disassembly, investment in materials, and a little know how.

Also worth noting is how dang bulky the whole package really is when it's all bagged up. This thing will take up a 3 ft long space about 10" square. It's even larger than most tent bags out there. Obviously this means it's not the lightest thing to lug around.

Not a bad unit, but the whole using it less than 20 times and the air mattress failing outside of warranty has left a bad taste in my mouth. I would assume that results may vary.

This is the most AMAZING camping bed I've ever witnessed, and I've camped my entire life. Seriously.

I've backpacked. I've glamped. I've gone to music festivals, art festivals, burning man regionals... I've used/witnessed/borrowed/begged/not-quite-stolen everything under the sun/moon/stars. This beats all of them.

Why, you ask?

Not only is it up off of the ground, so my 36 year old disabled ass doesn't have to cry every time I get in and out of my sleeping bag, my suitcase FITS UNDERNEATH THE BED. What?!?!?! Under bed storage. Bam!

Then, there's the cot itself. Yeah, there's a bar running down the middle. That's for extra support. Not a huge deal for me, because I'm 5'4 and even though I weigh an impressive 213 for my height, I fit seamlessly into the little pocket between the rods. Mmmmmmnnnn... comfy. And all this is without even adding in the INCLUDED AIR MATTRESS.

WHAT?!?!?!??! There's an included air mattress?????? Yep.

But... won't that just fall off of the cot? Or Fail like Every Other Air Mattress and Ruin the Most Awesome Cot FOREVER??????

That's where the Genius of Coleman comes in, kids. See, it's not built in like some Cots with Air Mattresses you'll see out there. Coleman did it the smart way. They added a pocket made out of super soft microfiber material that feels like your favorite Grandmammy's sheets and zippers open to slide the PREMIUM COLEMAN AIR MATTRESS WITH DOUBLE AIR LOCK MAGICALNESS inside and then you ZIPPER IT SHUT AGAIN, keeping the double zippers close to the air lock just in case you'd like to, I don't know, adjust the firmness of your mattress later on in your stay because IT DOES NOT LEAK (much) ((at least, not after the first night. that's any mattress, though)).

But wait. There's more.

HOW CAN THERE POSSIBLY BE MORE?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!

YOU'VE ALREADY GIVEN US SO MUCH, COLEMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MotherLoving Side Tables, Batman.

They snap on right where you want them. With holes for all of your beverage holding needs. And just enough room for a kindle, a phone, and an adult beverage. I would know. And you know what else I know? My survival kit slid Right Underneath the Table!

BAM!!

More floorspace!!

You have no idea how life changing this bed has been for me.
And I've only gotten to take it on one trip (so far). I'm taking it out again next week. I'm already excited about it.

Overall, I am really satisfied with this package. Here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
- easy to set up, you basically just unfold it.
- pump included, it is generic but works
- nice valve on the mattress, Coleman has these valves that close with a cap but also by popping the valve in which makes it easy to close while still pumping air in
- the mattress cover keeps the mattress in place
- you can store bins that are a foot tall under the cot to save space in a tent.
- Sturdy
- All fits into the case (you have to take the mattress out of the cover, but it all fits easy)

Cons:
- the mattress cover is sewn onto the cot fabric itself. I think you could remove the whole thing to wash it but it might be nice to have the mattress cover detach for easy washing. Though, this might make the mattress move on the cot more... I really don't know.
- It is heavy (read product specs). This makes it very sturdy but you aren't getting a lightweight cot

Also, I fit this (barely) into a 4 person tent that was 5 feet tall. There wasn't a lot of spare space, but the whole thing is about 2 feet tall assembled, so it would work well in taller tents to save space and store stuff underneath. Just protect your tent floor! Very happy with the product
