I don't normally write reviews, but I'm so disappointed in this product that I had to warn others. I'm trying to use this game to teach a 3 year old to recognize her numbers. I should have just returned this, but I instead modified it a bit to work.First, if a 3 year old is to play then she should be able to use counting skills, because many if not most don't recognize their numbers yet. This is the age that they are learning this skill so I think expecting there to be 1 fish on the one card, 2 fish on the 2 card, 3 fish on the 3 card, etc... is reasonable. This set does not do this. The pictures are cute but have nothing to do with counting.Second, the number on the bottom of the card is written upside down. Initially, this isn't a terrible idea since the child may hold the cards upside down. However, since there are no counting pictures to go with the numbers, 6 and 9 become huge issues. Even for a child very familiar with their numbers this is an issue until its explained to only look at the top number.I do not recommend this game. I'm on my phone so I apologize for any typos.
