WG518: Works well and affordable
I purchased along with this, the Worx WA4054.2 LeafPro Universal Leaf Collection System with Multi-Fit Adapter and 8' Hose:amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZMUEO4GI've only used one other leaf blower to compare to, the Toro Ultra (51619)amazon.com/gp/product/B00SBPFREUI liked the infinitely variable speed adjustment of the Toro, but soon discovered that i didn't really need that level of control. The 2 speeds on the Worx were just fine. I used it to blow out my gutters and leaf blow/mulch my lawn and it did both well. Don't use a cheap extension cord (with any electrical power tools) Use an appropriate gauge of electrical cord for how much distance you need and you should be set. Despite the cons, I am still rating this 5 stars for the price range. If any future problems arise, i'll add as an edit and adjust rating if needed.PROS:+ Cost effective and works as well as the higher end blower i had used before.+ metal impeller chomped up some bigger chunks of leaves with small branches still attached and small pinecones.+ light to hold even with 1 hand+ when used with the Leaf Collection system and an appropriate receptacle to attach it to, this is a very efficient blower/mulcher combo.CONS:- small collection bag included. Buy a larger bag or better yet, the collection system and don't bother with the shoulder bag at all.- Clogs. In mulch mode, compared to the Toro, this had more powerful suction likely due to the opening being smaller, but I had more clogs easier because of it. (The clogs were easy to clear)- I did not use these back to back on the same day (about 1.5 months apart), so the conditions have changed, but it feels like the Worx is ever so slightly less powerful of a blower than the Toro than when i had used the Worx, just keep the change of conditions in mind, it may be just as powerful if it was side by side on the same day.
