This is a milk, meat and potatoes type devotion. It's great for all believers and you most likely won't be disappointed if you give this author a try. Oswald chamber's daily devotion is a well known classic. I give thinks for his obedient work and that through this work the spirit will continue to guide me and build me up for our church and the Lord's kingdom.

This is the only original text version, other than one available in paperback, as written by Oswald Chambers in the early 1900's, and published by Barbour Publishing back in 1963. I have received a version with the new Up To Date language as they call it, and it was just not the same experience when reading this book. I had grown accustomed to the language of the early 1900's as originally written, and I feel that the newer translations took a few too many liberties in trying to make it current.
This is a beautiful and well done copy of the now out of print original.
