These 7 inche domes are key to successful grows.

Most other brands of 6-inch domes including the supposed commercial grade bootstrap farmer brand are never even 6 full inches to the edge making them even smaller and unusable.
Thes 7-inch domes are 7 inches, with no tapering edge and the center is even a bit taller.
A 6-inch plant isn't going to be happy touching the top of a humidity dome and this extra inch is the key to getting good healthy plants that don't have leaves stuck to the dome. On top of that, the black plastic humidity adjustment knobs are made of decent plastic and are fastened in well. Most competitors are made of the same thin wall dome material and don't hold up at all. In the world of humidity domes out there, Yield lab sets the standard.

I've been using these for a couple of weeks atop my seedling trays. They've made an incredible difference in ensuring the germination of my vegetable seeds. The humidity stays constant - less watering is needed. The 'dials' over the top aeration holes allow you to control the humidity. I found that helpful. They're much taller than most domes, so your seedlings can emerge and grow taller (though most of mine don't need THAT much space, except for my garlic, which sprouted and grew over 8" in one week - particularly helpful since I had gone on vacation for a week after planting the initial cloves). hahaha

I agree with the other 23 - 5 star reviews. This is an awesome product. Many of the products that Amazon sells though their organization had many complaints about the product that were sold. That is why I choose this product over all the rest.

The domes fit perfectly on my 10x20 inch trays, arrived sooner then expected and undamaged. The design was engineered so the top does not cave in like other domes sold on Amazon. However, there was one missing part on one of the domes. The adjustable humidifier. But this no big deal, because I can lay a piece of plastic over the top if need be.

I have been growing my own vegetables for many years (35 years) and from seed for the last 15 years and never knew these domes existed.
