This electric grill is a great alternative to a gas/charcoal one. I live in a co-op & we are not allowed to cook out on our balconies. I missed grilling kebabs, steaks, fish etc… so I went hunting for a good indoor electric grill. Here are my pros & cons on this grill.
This is my 100% honest review!
Pros:
~ Can use it anywhere you have use of electricity.
~ Light weight so you can move it & store it easily.
~ digital settings & temperature readings to take the guess work out of doneness. There are doneness (well, med, rare etc…)settings as well as settings for meat/chicken/fish.
~ Capability to set your own temperature so searing your food is easy!
~ Large drip tray/water well to keep it truly smokeless.
~ Super easy cleanup
~ Cover/Lid keeps heat moisture in to get perfect juicy cooked food.
~ aesthetically pleasing to the eye
~ Large cooking surface
~ Truly smokeless (you have to use water in the drip tray!)
~ Thermometer probe so you know when your food is safely cooked through.
~ Will alert you when food is ready to be flipped/turned (this is only while using the thermometer probe)

Cons:
There are very few cons but ones I think should be mentioned.

~ Short cord. I wish the cord were longer so I’d have better options to plug it in without having to use an extension cord.
~ It’s bulky. Although it is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes & light weight, it will take up a good amount of space on your counter top.
~ Wish it came with a cover & a few tool options like tongs & a spatula.
~ Beeps are kind of low. When it’s time to flip your meat & when cooking is done it will beep to let you know. However; I find the sound not loud enough. It will be almost impossible to hear if you have kids running around or guests over unless you are right next to it.

So there you have it. This is MY HONEST review. I was NOT compensated in ANY way for it. I just think that if someone is going to spend this much money on a simple appliance they should at least know what they are buying.
So, all in all I find this to be an excellent purchase & worth the money. I took 1 star off specifically for the short cord because I know that matters to most people.

Perfect indoor grill for a freezing day

I was looking at various indoor grills so I may use during this below freezing weather and found this grill. It is everything I needed and more. Very easy to use and cleaning it is ok. I tried cooking 3 ribeye steaks all at once and stuck the meat thermometer horizontally into the thickest part of the meat and selected well done on the digital screen and it came out perfect. It comes with one meat thermometer but I just figured the other two should be ready simultaneously and it did. I tried hamburger patties the next day and cooked it manually at 400 degrees. It came out perfect as well. Only problem I see is…it doesn’t have that bbq grill flavor to it but it cooks it evenly. I love this indoor grill and it actually does not have smoke anywhere. You have to add 1 cup of water in the provided tray whenever you cook something. It comes with kindergarten instructions. No tools needed to assemble. Just follow the pictures.
