  • Suitable for Antenna or Cable TV use. Compatible With All Standard And Digital Cable TV Services, OTA Antenna Reception. Not compatible on systems with an existing amplifier or pre-amplifier. Not compatible with satellite systems.

Product Description

This is a brand new, four (4) port cable television drop amplifier, similar to the products that your local cable company uses to correct their system's shortcomings. The amplifier allows you to connect up to four devices to a single input connection, without losing signal strength like you would with normal splitters. It boosts signal strength in an intelligent manner, by limiting the naturally stronger signals on the low frequency range and boosting the frequencies on the higher end. Since TV signals tend to natually lose strength on the high frequencies faster than the low frequencies, you are less likely to over-amplify your TV signals and cause further problems. The LSA48 provides a minimum of 0dB gain (which means no signal loss) on the low frequency end (54MHz) up to a +7.5db (approximately 5x signal gain) on the high end 1000MHz end. It improves Analog, Digital & HDTV Picture Quality, and Improves UHF/VHF/FM Antenna Reception! The unit can be used with Cable TV, OTA Antennas (Analog or Digital as long as they are non-amplified). This model packs a powerful punch in a compact, easy-to-install package! If you have multiple televisions or run a cable modem for your internet, this product is recommended. By connecting this signal booster to the cable drop coming in from the street, you can increase the signal strength and eliminate the need for additional splitters, which reduce signal strength. If you are tired of tv pictures that don't seem as clear as they should be, dropped internet connections, or just desire a reliable amplifier to give continuous, steady signal to your home or business, this is for you! Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, the LSA84 was engineered to withstand the harshest environmental threats with the capability of enduring repeated high power surges.

Received product early, packaging (amplifier box) was ripped open and F59 terminators were missing (not included). Installed unit and it does not operate. Power LED goes on for a second then fades out. I tested power supply and it does not provide the required 15v.Please advise.(11/5/2022) Received Replacement part, works fine. Installed and receiving a variety of local channels off-air.

SO - I have a large over-the-air antenna in my attic. It's been there and working fine for...7 years? I had a RCA signal amplifier down in the basement, which got me around 55 channels when I put the setup together. Over time, quality degraded until I couldn't even watch the big local (2, 4, 7) channels. I figured my old, cheap, RCA amp was failing and ordered this.

CHECK YOUR SETUP - REMOVE ANY PREAMPS!

I switched the RCA amp with this one and fiddled around a bit - got only about 11 channels - PRISTINE clarity, but I was severely disappointed. I was about to return this product as "useless" when I saw a little, passive, pre-amp on the post with the antenna. "No way that could be the problem, right?" WRONG! I bypassed that sucker and scanned for channels again and got nearly 100 clear channels!!! (south of Pittsburgh and on a hill, I have signal in the air!) Make CERTAIN you have a clean signal from antenna to this booster to your TV and you'll see - IT WORKS! That little passive (no power) preamp may have been my issue all along, but today it's better than it ever was. Worth the coin!

My cable TV service is lacking and I needed to have things wired in a very specific way to have the cable modem maintain connection. I purchased this as a replacement for multiple splitters after one splitter actually broke while undoing the cable connection. It says that it acts as an amplifier. I replaced a 2 then 3 way splitter cascade with this device. It DOES allow the cable modem to connect reliably, however the cable TV reception is no better than before. You mileage may vary.
