Recently read an article regarding the pervasiveness of microplastics and plastic cutting boards. TUrns out that I had several plastic cutting boards and the article made me reconsider using plastic cutting boards. Found this cutting board set for a great price and am loving it! I had been turned off of wooden blocks since childhood because of the amount of work needed to keep them in good working order (do not let them stay wet, oil regularly, etc).
