    I'm 48 and got this for myself and having fun with it! Some are better than others, but same goes with candy Advent calendars.Note the assembly instructions are inside each flap. Took me a while to figure that out. And several packets have extra parts. Better than the other way, but might confuse some kids. I'm on day 7 and have a pile going. Will try to make something at the end with all of them. :)

    I was shocked to find this as I had no idea these Lego Advent sets existed. It comes in a box with 24 numbered doors that open as an advent calendar. They are in little cellophane bags so you can take them out and use in your own too. I just cut out the pictures that go with them so my son has an idea what he is building. They are small enough that they fit in the wood calendar we have and I can even fit a little goodie in with it. My son is really enjoying these and looks forward to a new one everyday. I would recommend these as little started sets for kids who are new to Legos, even if it has nothing to do with Christmas.

    I bought this set to use as gifts in a handmade advent calendar for my 3-year-old grandson who is a lego maniac and star wars fan. The drawers in my calendar are 2x2x2” and the toys fit perfectly in each drawer with room to spare for a candy. Each day’s project is bagged separately and there is a picture of the completed project on the calendar flap. I cut them out and taped them to each bag and arranged them in the calendar in the order I liked best. Santa is last in the box, but I moved him up and also moved around the figures and other pieces in a more logical—to my mind anyway—order. Super happy with this for the price. Pretty sure the grandson will love it, too.

    So far, my son has received two Chewbacca s when one of them should have been a star destroyer. Naturally, he was really looking forward to opening the star destroyer. These are too pricey to not receive what is advertised.
