A Little Too Short, But Very Accurate
I give this four stars because it is 9" top to bottom, but with the wrist-rest you get 6.25" (by 8" wide) to work with. It's not enough. I do extensive InDesign and Photoshop work on a large screen and find the edge of the mouse is often tipping over the top edge of the mousepad (and stops working) when I pull menu items down from the top of the screen. I can't really position my wrist further back on the wrist-rest to compensate or I'm wresting on my palm instead of my wrist and then I don't haver the dexterity. C'mon, 3M, give me at least one more inch, please!Also, it has a very-slightly sticky back to prevent it from slipping, but it's still curls up on the ends. Strange. (I'm not sure you can see it in the photo).Despite these obstacles, it's not fabric (which gets dirty) and the pattern and the smooth surface make it super-responsive to the mouse. And that's the most important thing. SO... not 100% great, but still 80% great. Maybe it's 3.6, but I'm rounding up to four stars.
