Solution to a difficult problem
I got two senior rescue dogs for my little Chihuahua mix who had recently lost his 10-year Chihuahua buddy. The two senior rescues were horrifically traumatized. Instead of providing companionship for my dog, he started having seizures from the stress, and they were a nightmare for me too. One problem was they could never be left alone or else they would howl, because after their former owner shot himself they were left alone in the house by a neighbor for 6 months just being provided food and water. The howling escalates in intensity and volume for however long they are left alone. This meant I could not leave them as it stressed them further, even in the car while I ran into a store. I hired a dog behaviorist who helped a lot. She recommended a dog camera to see what was going on, but I couldn't get one because I don't have internet -- only my phone and hotspots. This little device has solved that. It is specifically without the internet, and while I can only use it up to about a thousand feet, there has been no more howling. I can praise or reinforce the dogs if they are quiet, or stop them if they are howling. It is a godsend. My life has freed up and my little boy almost never has seizures now (a thundershirt was a big help for that, along with CBD, MCT8 and my vigilance). I love this baby cam.
