Extending the life of your firebox

Do NOT plug other cords into the same outlet or use plug adapters of any kind.
Do NOT plug your electric fireplace into a power strip or extension cord. It should always be plugged directly into the wall outlet.

So I’ve had this tv stand for quite some time and have moved with it more than 3 times. It’s still in amazing shape. The lights still work great, the fireplace still stays warm if the heater is on, and it’s still extremely stable. It is heavy so it needs two people to carry or assemble. But I’m very happy with the purchase I made YEARS ago.

Wasn’t as difficult as I thought it was going to be to set up, I did it by myself. I will say, before you put the top piece on make sure all the backing holes are on the same side. (See pic) I didn’t realize the mistake until I was putting the backing piece on and there were no holes on the bottom- so now there are holes along the bottom on the front. LOL All of the screws and washers come in a handy package, I wrote on the backside and poked holes to get what I needed out of it as I built so I wouldn’t lose anything. You will need to have a flathead, Phillips head and a hammer as well. In total it took 4 hours to complete but I made dinner in the middle of it. Looks beautiful, is sturdy and I am happy with my purchase. I got it on sale for $260

Anyway I BUILT THIS MYSELF. I am a 29 yr old female!!! People saying that cannot build it, or had problems were NOT looking at the instructions!!! This took me 3 hours INCLUDING thoroughly reading the instructions on both the fireplace and the furniture setup (2 different pieces of paper, which explains how to put the crystals in). I also counted all the pieces, laid out the hardware in sections and made sure I was organized before I began. This is NOT difficult to do if you do not rush, so just read EVERYTHING. I did not even use youtube, but I know there was a video (which I was going to use if I could not figure it out). I have built ikea furniture and this was way easier.
There are different modes for the look of the fireplace. I was a bit disappointed by how cheesy the flames looked, but you can turn that mode off and still have heat if you want (like the first picture). I also thought the light was more purple then blue, but it is BLUE BLUE. I have never put it over 78 degrees just to not put too much strain on it and hopefully keep it for a long time.
Very happy with my purchase and for the $600 I paid for it at the time, was a great buy for my cold winter months ahead.
