The Traxxas Bandit redefines traditional Buggy performance by creating a whole new class of extreme sports Buggy. Bandit offers the highest levels of speed, action, and fun that will easily make it one of your favorites for all kinds of RC driving excitement. The lightweight Bandit chassis is loaded with an aggressive Titan 12-turn modified motor and a High-Current XL-5 electronic speed control that deliver lightning-fast acceleration and incredible 35+mph performance. Pull the trigger and Bandit rips massive rooster tails, soars over giant jumps, and lays down the power for pure performance and excitement at every turn. Bandit is infused with the latest Tech including the patent-pending Torque-Control slipper clutch and Alias high-performance 2.2" racing tires. The advanced dual-pin rear, and ribbed front tread designs are engineered to work with our exclusive rubber compounds for superior off-road traction and directional control. I've had a few Traxxas and they never let me down when I was a kid many years ago...
Well now my kids are teens and I thought maybe play around a little again, so we bought the Bandit. OMG! This thing is great. The kids have bounced it off of rock walls and ran it into the house and the deck, and it's still perfect. Awesome speed and handling if you know what you are doing. Kids are getting it, but funny seeing them lose control sometimes. Looks like everything should be easy to fix or upgrade when that moment comes. Great purchase. Traxxas is still a great product after all these years. Very impressed and would definitely recommend their products.

Ive owned Traxxas and other brands (Team Associated, Losi,) in the past. Traxxas seems to be better built, the fit and finish is much better. This Bandit is fast and tough, ive jumped and crashed it a lot, so far nothing has broken, still runs and looks like new. Buy extra rear tires, the VXL brushless burns them off quickly. Wheelies on demand off the start with the 7 cell battery hitting around the mid 40mph range. Use a 2 cell lipo and it greatly improves performance and drive times, wheeling at 20+mph and hitting high 40's with stock gearing. Put in a 3 cell 11.1v lipo and its CRAZY fast, popping wheelies a block long at any speed. Ive had brushless in the past, but very impressed with the VXL package!!

This is a great RC car for any beginner. I have many Traxxas cars and I love just playing with this car for fun. You can put brushless and 3s lips but beware it will tear up tires lol. If your looking to get into the hobby Traxxas makes the perfect RC for a great price. Easy work on and upgrade.
