I had the original AF360FGZ flash but it was lost to Hurricane Harvey. This new one though is better in two important ways. First, it is weather resistant. Nice to know if I find myself needing a flash during a spot of rain. Second, the head on this one rotates! Yes! It makes the flash so much more flexible to use. The original one did not rotate. The controls are fairly straight forward and the flash works well on my Pentax K-5II and K10D. It comes in a nice soft leather pouch with draw strings. Overall this flash has better build quality than the previous one. Feels more solid. It works great in dimly lit restaurants, and other low light situations.
Very pleased with the latest version of the AF360. The ability to rotate the head is very helpful and the updated digital menu system was easy to use without even consulting the guide.
