Product Description

High-output Strat P'up (Middle) with Staggered Pole Pieces If you're looking for humbucker-type heat from a traditional true single-coil, Seymour Duncan's SSL-7 RWRP makes an excellent drop-in upgrade for your Strat or other S-style guitar. Forget about "vintage this" and "heirloom that." The handbuilt SSL-7 RWRP is about two things: driving amps and taking names. I'm happy with it
I got this to put between my standard pickups on a tele, sort of a Nashville Deluxe Tele arrangement. I wanted it to have punch, so the oversized magnets and windings give it that. I would suggest, though, that if you are looking for vintage strat sound, you may prefer the Seymour Duncan SSL5, which are made to be more in line with the classic sound. I am happy with the pickup!
