Nicholas Snow is a journalist, author, actor, radio and television host, singer/songwriter, LGBT rights activist, and a world-renowned, openly-gay, openly-HIV positive advocate for HIV testing and safer sex. When he learned he had become HIV positive through a rare slip in his safer sex behavior, he held a press conference and has ultimately reached millions of people with his experience, strength, and hope. He created "The Power To Be Strong" HIV Testing/Safer Sex Awareness Song and Music Video Campaign, available for viewing and sharing, subtitled in 20 languages, at www.YouTube.com/ThePowerToBeStrong. In the process, he became one of the most visible, openly-HIV positive people in Asia. Snow tells this story in his riveting, written-as-he-lived-it, living-powerfully-with-HIV memoir, "Life Positive: A Journey to the Center of my Heart." He is also the author of "A Return to Brokeback Mountain: Photos and Interviews from the Historic Hollywood Premiere." For most of the 1990's, Nicholas produced and hosted the hit Los Angeles-area television programs, Tinseltown's Queer and The Nicholas Snow Show. His podcast is about to surpass two million total listens since launching the summer of 2012. He has been openly-gay in the media for about three decades, and is often referred to as "one of the world's primo promo homos." Nicholas lives his mission statement one day at a time which, as he explains, is "to honor and express my creativity in a way that makes a difference."
