This salsa has chunks of stuff, giving it texture in addition to good flavor. I use it with Mexican dishes, chips, on eggs and anything else that needs flavor added. Medium hot has little kick from my perspective so I mix it 50/50 with the hot version (which has good flavor but the pepper level is just a bit too much by itself - NOT habanero hot though).

My only complaint is that it doesn’t really meet my criteria for a ‘medium’ salsa. It’s pretty mild—especially if you’re someone who grew up in the Southwest or Mountain West regions. If they make a hotter version, I would love to try it.

That being said, it has a wonderful flavor! It’s so much better than the common big-name jarred salsas that you would find in a grocery store. The cumin certainly adds a twist, so you will need to like cumin if you’re going to enjoy this salsa (which I do). For me, the cumin comes through more strongly when the salsa is chilled compared to room temperature, so definitely keep that in mind. I almost like this salsa slightly better at room temperature.
