This may is the perfect size for my Total Gym XLS. I have wood floors and I want to protect them. I had to tape the ends of the mat down as the mat came rolled up and the ends wouldn't sit flat. Not a problem, just some green frog tape to keep it down.

This is a good mat and works well under equipment but it is very thin. I ended up getting a harder, sturdier mat (like the hard mats that go under desk chairs) to put under this thinner mat. This is because I use my equipment on carpeting. It's probably just fine for a hard floor to prevent marks on the floor.
