I've been searching for another popcorn for a long time and I am happy to have gotten a Primeday deal on Franklin's because this is truly great popcorn. Even before tasting it you can tell just by it's beautiful rich color that it's going to be great. And it is! Really fantastic, fresh, tender, tasty, light, thorough popping--everything you could want in a popcorn. Now I'm super-interested in trying their prepackaged movie-style oil/seasoning/popcorn product, I'll bet that's fricking awesome!

Delicious, fluffy, crunchy, and organic. I pop it manually on an electric stove with a large stainless steel bowl covered in foil with Franklin's Butter Flavored Coconut Oil and fine ground sea salt (I grind regular sea salt with a mortar and pestle). Learned the technique from Alton Brown's Good Eats show, works perfectly.

The corn can be a bit "chewy" straight out of the bowl until the excess moisture evaporates away. Takes about 2 minutes, after then, crisp and delicious.
