. Excellent casting
. A fun adventure
. A sweet message
. A+
The CGI(computer generated imagery) is placed over the actors and enables the fine articulate contours of Mark Rylance to be relaxed as a peddling giant in all his debonair demureness. Ruby Barnhill as Sophie, an orphan who is kidnapped by the BFG is defiant to confinement but angelically subordinate to sage authority. This movie offers gifts of diversion, imagination, motivation, and drama. A new world is spired above these refinements and it is a positive, uplifting experience.

After his ET and Jurassic Park, BFG brings us back to the world of fantasy and imagination that he only possess. It is a diamond and it is now part of my collection.
