Two areas I'd like to comment on-
Fit. The height of the models doesn't help determine the length of my arm for sizing. From my inner elbow, to my wrist bone is 8 inches. There is no way to determine which size, so I picked medium. If you have fatter arms than the models, (and I do) understand that the velcro strap at the top may not be long enough. Mine fits, but not by much. Perhaps including the strap length in the description and offering an extender? Also the upper strap (being velcro) seems to snag on my shirt. Just a heads up.
The other downfall is-like most every brace, It slides down the arm. Granted I could tighten the straps, but then the pressure on the arm gets to be too uncomfortable, and it still moves. I keep having to slide it back up.
I'm thinking a cloth shoulder type of harness to keep it at the correct level. Similar to a posture brace, with a elastic strap connected to the brace front and back side. Something is needed to keep the elbow brace, from becoming a wrist brace. :)
The angle is just right to hold your arm where it doesn't hurt the nerve.
I wanted to address some of the other negative reviews.
I think some of the strap complaints are for an older version, or they may be wearing it wrong.
I'm an average 5' 11" guy who does not work out and the straps have tons of slack.
If your arms are large you can probably just buy more velcro.
For those that say this is uncomfortable, I ask which is worse, the pain or the brace?
Seriously, it's not meant to be comfortable, it's meant to keep your arm rigid so you can heal.
Keeping your arm in the same position all the time won't be comfortable but it will be effective.
As for poor range of motion, it's not bad.
I can drive, use my computer, and perform most activities with it on.
I only take it off to eat and that gives me a chance to stretch my arm a bit.
As for sleep, it's only hard when you're falling asleep, especially if you sleep on your right side.
And even then it's not that hard.
Once your out, it's fine.
I absolutely love this thing and even though I've only worn it for 2 days I've already noticed an improvement.
