The only problem is that the thickness takes up some of the chair seat space. It causes the user to sit more forward in the chair seat. For most chairs its not a problem but it is noticeable in my desk chair. However, it is better with the lumbar support it provides.
I gave this cushion a 4 because it is in combination of physical therapy to address pain. The cushion is a big help. I'll purchase another one for my car.
BTW, I like it much better than the half round cushion as it is more stationary and provides support over a greater area.

I'll probably purchase a second one to leave in my car.

I usually have a really hard time finding lumbar support that is comfortable for me, but this one is a winner right out of the box! When my QL's act up, sitting for long periods of time can be excruciating, so I needed something to give me some relief because my new office chair's lumbar support is pretty flat and requires me to sit further back on the seat than is comfortable. This support cushion provides the extra support I need and also helps me sit in the most comfortable part of the chair. I'm also happy to say that the strap on this is also long enough to fit larger chair backs. I'll post an update if I have any negative experiences with this cushion, but so far my back is very happy!
