I buy this calendar pretty much every year and have it on my kitchen window sill.

The build quality is good, and the way the producer has been able to replace the former plastic stand with recyclable heavy cardboard is quite clever. The photography is of good quality, and there is usually a set of interesting facts about each place. (Though the number "1,000" is obviously hyperbole, since you get only one photo per weekday and one per weekend. Over 3 years' worth of calendars, however...) Even if you never get to visit all of these places, the entries can sometimes pique your curiosity about them and take you out of your every day monotony.

Averaged across a year, the price is far from excessive. I'm probably too late to influence anyone in purchasing this calendar since we're already in April... but I'm pretty confident that I'll be lining up to get the 2024 edition when it comes out.
