The sanding spong easily fits into the palm of your hand and is ideal for sanding a variety of surfaces. Due to it's shape, consturction and controlled flexibility the standard four side sanding sponge block can operate in the most awkard places. High-quality brown corundum is an extremely tough, wedge shape grain, for high speed penetration of tough materials without excessive shedding or fracturing of the grain. Great for Wood, Metal, Drywall, and Paint Hi-Performance, particularly suited well for grinding high tensile strength materials as hard woods and alloy steels.

I was looking for sandpaper to give my 50 year old wooden doors a new makeover. I am new to buying my own hardware because my father used to have everything we needed for the house. Since his passing, I have taken on the task of keeping up my childhood home on a budget and without his advice. I'm always on thy look out for deals and variety. These sandpaper blocks did the job. Not only were they a great value for 4 different grades but they are reusable. I wasn't sure which grade I needed exactly, so these came in handy. I ended up using all 4 for different projects. All I had to do was rinse them off with water and a soft brush to remove the sawdust. Then just air dry them to get them ready for another project. They fit perfectly in my hand and I can maneuver them with ease around corners and edges. I've used them over and over and they haven't torn up like traditional sandpaper. My fiancé was surprised with the durability and that they are reusable. He didn't think they would last very long being after being washed but they did. Great value for the price and convenience of being reusable.

So far, so good! I'm staining a drum table that I bought 6 or so yrs ago. When I had a dark carpet and light upholstery it was fine. However lighter flooring and carpet and it was too dark. Mago wood is on the harder side and had used a fine grit sanding sponge that did do much (stain stayed on top did not penetrate). With these started with the lower grits and worked up to the finer grit sponges much better result. Very easy to hold and use. Great for uneven surfaces as well. I highly recommend these for the occasional home improver that does not want or need to buy and store tools. Don't know yet about durability at this point. Have not used them after cleaning them again. Will let you know.

- Was skeptical despite the positive reviews but they’re really fabulous, better than any sponge sander I’ve used and as good as any paper. I’m partial toward the Bosch orbital sander and the Bosch sanding discs, but they can’t get into the crevices. We have a Dremmel for the nooks and more detailed areas which is super for big jobs but it’s noisy and more of a hassle for quick jobs. On these sanding blocks the grit holds up, they’re lightweight, easy to hold, they get the job done and the price is competitive. If they don’t change, I’ll be a repeat customer.
