Debra Hewitt

Debra Hewitt has reinvented herself many times in her life, working as a librarian and professional book reviewer, directing two private preschools she helped start, writing scripts and guided journals, and offering lessons in her own piano studio for twenty years. She grew up in an Air Force family and had the chance to live on both coasts of the U.S. as well as a few places in between and on Okinawa. Those years seemed to fuel a love for new adventures and travel that continues to this day. She and her husband now live in Virginia where she writes children's books and works as a professional book editor.
