I recommend this for people with dry skin and/or using a powder formula foundation. The product is generous size in a high quality pump container. It is smoothing and hydrating. You can tell the quality by how silky it is. I feel the tightening effect after my skin has a couple of minutes (2 to 4) to absorb it. I wait for that before applying foundation. I wait with creams in general.
This formula is gentle and moisturizing. It readies the skin for the powder. In my past makeup regimen, I used a mattifying, tinted silicone primer that reduced pores but left a pronounced layer on my skin that suffocated the pores. This primer truly lets the skin breathe lots of air, which is healthier for it. It won't clog pores and the air helps blemishes heal faster.
There will always be those people that want "shortcuts", but the real beauty shortcuts are good sleep, lots of water, protection from the elements like sun and wind, and good ingredients for what you put in and on your body. When skin has a good smooth base, you can always add as much or as little color onto that as you like. With my prior full coverage primer, my pores felt congested. With this product my skin feels very natural.
Lastly, I like the bright green container because I remember which step goes first, like green means go to the next step, and it's easy to locate in my bag.
When my pores were congested in the past I couldn't use night creams because they sat on the surface layers of skin and clogged more. With a redo of the products I am using, I can now use a moisturizer at night and it will take. The middle layers of skin can receive the moisture.

Love this new Moisturizer Choice
I have used Clinique for years. I saw a commercial about Laura Geller Baked Makeup and Moisturizer. Decided to take a chance since I do have age spots to cover since I am over the age of 70. I have been using this moisturizer and the Baked makeup now for a month and have decided to totally change to this brand from my older choice that I have used for over 30 years. Definitely helps with the coverup of spots and helps moisturize my face prior to putting the makeup on. I absolutely love the moisturizer and the makeup...Will definitely be buying it again...
