My search is over!
I lost count of all the carriers I tried! This one was BY FAR the easiest to adjust and follow the instructions, and my newborn fell asleep instantly after I put her in the carrier! I tested it around the house, and this was the first time I was able to successfully eat breakfast since she was born! Comfortable for both of us as well! I will be checking out the Explore version as well once she gets older!

I lost count of all the carriers I tried! This one was BY FAR the easiest to adjust and follow the instructions, and my newborn fell asleep instantly after I put her in the carrier! I tested it around the house, and this was the first time I was able to successfully eat breakfast since she was born! Comfortable for both of us as well! I will be checking out the Explore version as well once she gets older!

I’m a mom of three. And this is not my first go around with baby wearing. With my oldest (11 y/o) I had the original Moby wrap. And we did fine with it when I could get that massive piece of fabric just right. But he nor I ever really liked it. Same sorta go around with my middle child. Tried a couple wraps but nothing crazy and she hated it. She wanted her space. So baby wearing didn’t work out with her. Now my newest little. We got a wrap type carrier from Momcozy as a gift before she was born. She doesn’t mind it much. And will fall asleep. However, it’s like 3 layers of a thicker fabric, and past newborn stage seems quite inconvenient and hot. So I purchased the Tula Lite (for my husband as it’s light weight and thinner fabric also LOVE that one) and the Tula Free-to-Grow. We love this so much. Here are the things I absolutely love about the Free-to-Grow.
1. Hands free carrying. This seems fairly obvious as this is a point for most who want to baby wear. But as a mom of three kids being hands free is almost a must, we don’t get an extra set of hands per kid. So I’m out numbered here.
2. Fabric. A couple of things. Baby wearing will always be warm. Body heat right? But the fabric on the Hemp version I got is much thinner than a wrap, but slightly thicker than the Tula Lite. So a perfect blend. And they come in a variety of styles which is fantastic!
3. Adjustability. This is a major selling point for me. My sweet little girl is on the petite side. So I love that I can adjust the carrier height and width so suit her now, and as she grows. Not to mentions while I got this carrier for me, it does provide enough adjustment that my husband (who is quite broad) can also use this carrier if needed.
4. Baby loves this. Now not all babies like carriers, and that is a risk in attempting baby wearing (my middle child not a fan). But my baby is very much a Velcro baby and loves to be held. See point 1. So this allows me to keep baby in her happy and safe space, as well as get things done like housework, shopping or other things with her siblings.
So if you’re on the fence, I hope you find this review. Me and my baby personally love this carrier. And as the weight limit is 45lbs and she’s roughly 12 lbs. we have years with this thing.
