Right out the gate the back-end taste is a little off to me and much different than all the others. It's also very possible I am conditioned to the sugars, sweetners &/or artifical flavors in all the others... Took a while for my palate to adjust to a sugar free diet and beverages are even harder for me.
But I'm keeping an open mind, will finish these tubes and trust the benefits claimed in their description.
In the end, I would choose efficacy over a weird back-end flavor. The mind wants the sugar the body does not.

I ordered this box in January, as I was getting low, then found a few random containers in the pantry, so I didn’t need these until today.

So, it’s on me for not checking the box out as soon as I got it. However, I just opened the box they came in (box was not water damaged at all), and every single one was popped open on one side, and bad. They even smell bad.

Obviously I’m past my return window, but make sure you open your box immediately. Wasted my money, but it’s my own fault.

I have a modafinil prescription because I have chronic fatigue syndrome. They keep me awake, but give me pretty bad headaches. After seeing some anecdotal evidence of electrolyte drinks helping with these headaches, and even symptoms of CFS in general, I figured it wouldn’t do me any harm to try them at least.

To my surprise, the headaches have actually died down. I already drank plenty of water before buying these, so it’s not because these tablets make me drink more of it. I dissolve one tablet daily, sometimes two if it’s an extra long day.

In terms of the tablets themselves, they dissolve really well, and all of the flavours taste good. I’m not too keen on the stevia, but it’s hard to find a reasonably inexpensive and palatable electrolyte drink that doesn’t have a large amount of sugar or artificial sweeteners, especially in Australia. All of the tablets are a light orange, regardless of the flavour.

I do wish Nuun would make tubs of powder to cut down on the plastic tubes. These are handy for sticking in your bag though. I will be definitely ordering these again once I’m out.

These look awful, stick together and take forever to dissolve. They would perhaps be more useful for geolgy teachers who want to simulate the dissolution of minerals over geological timescales. Taste is bad, but could just be because they have no fizz.
