Versatile and Travel-friendly
I was intrigued by the design of this body brush from the moment I saw it. I've never seen one that comes apart like that. I love that you can disassemble it into several smaller pieces for easy cleaning and also to make it easy to bring along when traveling.I'm docking it one star because the handle parts don't line up properly for me no matter how I screw it together, so mine isn't at a 45-degree angle. Even unscrewing it and seating it slightly differently on the threads doesn't change it. It always screws together the same way. As a result, my handle curves sideways (see the photo) instead of in the way it's shown in the manufacturer's pictures and a couple of the videos. Someone in one of the videos has one like mine with a handle that curves sideways, too. It's not a reason to return it or dislike it, though, because the issue can be solved by putting one or more hose washers between the two parts. Those are also waterproof and will come off easily when it comes time to clean or transport the body brush.That issue aside, though, it's a wonderful body brush. It's sturdy and smooth and doesn't have any rough or sharp edges. It's quick and easy to assemble or disassemble and all of its parts are washable and dry quickly. It's unlikely to mold since the plastic handle and head parts won't absorb water, the silicone massage cover for the head is naturally mold-resistant, and the cloth covers can be removed and air-dried completely between uses.The shape of the brush head is perfect for getting into some of our nooks and crannies that are too small for those larger, oval brushes that seem to be the standard for these sorts of tools. The design of the brush-head pieces is also well-thought-out. I like that everything on the brush head pulls off and pushes on rather easily, but it all stays together when it's fully-assembled.It was thoughtful of the manufacturers to include two of the little cloth covers so that you could have a spare or use them to apply different things to your body. They're easy to pop on after the body brush is fully assembled and they fit tightly enough that they're not going to come off during use. They also hold a good amount of soap or lotion.I also especially like that you can use this body brush wet in the shower or dry to increase circulation and provide lymphatic massage in hard-to-reach areas. The dry massage is the sort of feature that will become more and more valuable as time goes by because none of us are getting any younger.Last, but not least, I appreciate the hanging strap and the hole in the end of the handle. It's nice to have the option to choose to use the hanging strap or remove it and use the hole to hang the brush on an S-hook instead.I'm glad I got this body brush and have already recommended it to others, but with the caution that they may have to get some hose washers if their handle is also not lined up properly.
