So far so good. I like the stiffness of the tray. The line pattern helps food not slide around. The width is good in fits in a standard size dishwasher. So far my only complaint is that the sides are not very deep in case you're working with something that's pretty juicy. At least they have a double rim design which helps reduce spills.

Where have these been all my life? My daughter had a set of these that she received as a wedding gift when we visited last and I was hooked.
They are so well made and have come in so handy when preparing meats and vegetables.
I love that I can season right on the pan and then either transfer to the air fryer, over or better yet, hand it to my husband to put on the grill.
They wash up so nicely and look brand new after several uses. I've used different seasonings on what I prepare and none has stained them so that's a big plus.
I would highly recommend them!

I've purchased this 4 times. It's such a perfect gift! These are a heavy duty sturdy plastic. It's so nice to tenderize meat on the red tray. While I wouldn't use the hammer tenderizer, the push down one works great. The black tray is so nice for the cooked meat. I got tired of using round plates. This really does make a perfect gift. Get one for yourself. I love these trays!

These are really nice trays at $22 for the pair. Until I set them on the counter. These were not flat and seemed to be bowl a bit on the bottom. Like a heavy bowl was set on it and it isn't flat on the bottom. Not sure how to fix this and probably why these are priced the way they were. Keeping them and hope that using it will flatten it out over time. LOL. These are sturdy, light, very easy to clean (dish washer) and not to big either.

I really really hate defrosting in a Microwave. It makes the meat icky and takes flavor away. Plus to defrost the middle part the outer gets half cooked.
It is horrid.
So, I just take meat out to defrost the old fashioned way. But, the meat does not always defrost completely - especially in the winter.
There had to be something better then a microwave to defrost in less the leaving it during an afternoon to try to defrost.
So, I looked on Amazon and sure enough! there were these defrosting 'mats'.
I got Cuisinart since it's a brand I do use and know to be good. And the price was really good.
When I got it I was confused at first. It was just this metal piece and nothing else.
I saw no batteries or plug in were needed.
The next day I defrosted a steak on it. Again confused. The metal did not get warm. It was just like it was before I put the steak on it. But, I just left the steak.
An Hour later the bottom looked like quite a bit had defrosted. I turned it over. And the whole steak was defrosted about a half hour later.
The metal never got warm. It was like it always was but, somehow it defrosted my steak. Nicely.
I did put a towel under it because the pictures always had one and I thought maybe I should.
The 'mat' cleaned up easy. Just quick and easy.
This is an amazing product. I wish it was something more known to people. Imagine the working people if they were aware of this and could defrost stuff after work and not have to resort to a microwave. I do know alot of people are like me and hate microwave defrosting.
Anyway, this simple easy little metal mat does magic.
