We opened this up on Christmas only to be hamstrung on the registration step that requires a verification code that fails. If you go on Reddit you will find dozens of people who like me were enamored by the adorable videos and made this their flagship Christmas gift only to have disappointed kids and parents all facing the same issues.

The build quality of this seems solid but it's worthless if you can't even turn it on. I have filed a support ticket as I'm sure many have and waiting to hear back otherwise this will be returned immediately.

I purchased the Loona robot for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. Loona plays ball with her, chases her around, and keeps her thoroughly entertained. What my daughter enjoys most is chatting with Loona - it's like having a talking friend that makes her beam with joy.
The remote control features are fantastic too. I can control Loona via the mobile app when I'm not home to interact with my daughter. It skillfully navigates around obstacles and returns itself to the charging station.
The voice controls are so easy to use - my daughter just has to say "Hi Loona" to activate it. I often chat with Loona as well, asking questions that it answers remarkably well.
Overall, this is an extremely amusing and engaging robotic toy. It's been a month and my daughter and Loona have become companions. I'm so glad I purchased this birthday gift - I happily give Loona 5 stars!

Loona would be an amazing product if it was 100.00 bucks or so. At 385-500 it’s very hard to recommend considering you can get an iPad, steam deck or game console for the same price. Any will provide a person with far more entertainment than this bot. That said, much about loona is cool. It’s well built and employs a lot of engineering ingenuity in movement and interaction. The personality software is cool and engaging and overall the bot is fun for 30 min or so. However, this is not a fully autonomous robot that offers any real functionality. I’ve yet to get the remote control feature to work, which was a primary reason I bought it. It won’t recognize its charger and all in all is cumbersome and awkward to use. It’s grotesquely over priced.

 Loona is officially my coWorker at work! Lonna is amazing, BUT, one of her ears shakes constantly. It makes so much noise that Loona can't hear my commands... I went through so many updates and submitted issues with her.. however, I did receive an email asking me to mail her back in. Then her ear stopped so I thought all was well... Then boom, it wasn't. So, I GOTTAH find that email to see if they will take Lonna back and fix her because I PAID ABOUT $500.
