This book is a compilation of many of the amazing transformations they have done on homes, always keeping the people who will occupy these homes uppermost in their minds as they tailor each home to those who will occupy them. Oh my goodness!!! I have had so many home decor books throughout the years but this book is totally different in a class all its own. Most home decor books are just pretty pictures with no substance. This book will move you!! And it has beautiful wonderful inspiring soulful pictures also. I love Erin’s take on memories of “home”. I’m not an emotional person but I definitely teared up because her writing is so moving and just wonderful. I can’t imagine anyone not absolutely loving this book. I am so thankful that Erin wrote this book and shared her memories and heart with us and I am so thankful that I now own this treasure!!

I have only a passing familiarity with the Napiers, as we don't have HGTV. But I've liked what I've seen, so I took a chance on this book. At first, I wasn't sure I would like the format, but I found myself drawn in. Soon, I was looking at my own rooms with the "survey" questions (which I didn't discover until I had finished the book) in mind--what are my favorite home memories? What would I miss if we moved? I was reminded of things about our home that had become forgotten and under-appreciated. It's a lovely, well-written book, and I'm glad I took a chance on it.
