I let the water flow thru the filter for hours and the black charcoal sediment was still coming out of the filter staining my pool black. I haven't tried the 2nd filter yet. The water flow was restricted a lot! Asking seller for advise on possible defects.
I tried the second filter and Biola, it worked without continuous black pouring out. The output on this filter is fine I just need to exchange the defective one.

**Updated review** I definitely lwill buy this filter from this seller again. They immediately sent a replacement filter in exchange for the defective filter with the charcoal clog.
Let me tell you when this.product works, it works very well. I used it to fill my swimming pool (approximately 25 000 gallons) we have super hard water here and I chose these filters for the calcium and magnesium filtering. In fact, the filter that I kept worked a little bit too good! When I tested my new pool water after using this filter, my calcium hardness level was way too low for a pool start up, it was 90 ppm and the chlorine was at zero.
A pool should be between 200- 400 ppm to be balanced. The filter provided a very nice soft water at 90 ppm. The water tasted clean and clear. It produced a nice quality drinking water from a garden hose!
For my pool, 1I just need to increase the Calcium levels to about 200 manually now. I will know better next time and just use the hose filter on anoit 1/4 of the new water to avoid
too much of the excessively hard water from my county water supply, which causes scaling around the pool tiles.
This filter works as advertised.
I upgraded my review to a five star rating because the defective filter was replaced right away. I used the second one without a problem. I got back a new set from the seller so I'm very happy.
