Artisana is a small team of super dedicated people making organic and raw nut butters in Oakland, California. We started Artisana in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2002 and introduced our products at farmer's markets and festivals around California. We work with local farmers for our almonds and walnuts and with farmers around the globe for many of our other ingredients. We're committed to sustainable and fairly-traded ingredients that are always certified organic. Today, you can find Artisana Organics in natural foods stores across the country as well as other familiar regional supermarket chains. After all these years, we're still dedicated to making quality organic products available everywhere.

I have been purchasing this product monthly over the past 3-4 years and this is the first time I got defected jars. Both jars had half oil and half almonds that were completely separated. Even after mixing the texture and color and even taste is not the same as before.This was dissapointing and I hope it was a one off.Can you please replace the 2 jars?ThanksGhazal

My go to quick meal is almond butter on Ezekiel bread toast with fruit preserves. Almonds are one of the healthiest nuts you can eat(being alkaline not acidic). ARTISANA is one of the best almond butters on the market. It tastes freshly ground, no salt no sugar no added oil, mild flavor that does not overpower the bread and the preserves...perfect. Was very easy to stir, but did not require stirring...that's how fresh it is.
Definitely will buy again. Well worth every five gold stars given...and more.

I have been buying this product and LOVED it non GMO and organic with no BS oils. after like 18 months I now get a jar with black hard crud that my natural senses tell me DO NOT EAT. Wow... you cant return the jar.. their return policy does not allow it.. OMG REALLY ... Hard black CRUD may indicate microbial growth that can be injurious to anyone ingesting this product . BEWARE.

Not as buttery as I prefer; relative to other brands it seems to have chunks combined with almond oil. You can tell because of the pieces of almond skin not being broken down into ulra-fine indistinguishable particles.

Compared to fresh ground, the flavor has fallen off to a bland flavor, a boring calorie-dense paste.

"Once again" has a bit more flavor and spreads better, but does not surpass fresh ground.

My almond butter product came all damaged and when I went to try to return the item it said it is NOT ELIGLE FOR RETURN!!! This makes absolutely no sense when an item comes damaged and it does not allow you to even replace it. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
