I purchased this paddle December 2022. Fifteen months later the edge guard is separating. I contacted Joola. They were quick to respond. Here's what you need to know:Joola's warranty is only good for 6 months after your purchase.They are not going to do anything for me.With that being said, I have other paddles older than my Joola. The older paddles have not shown any edge guard separation. They have lost their surface integrity.I love the Joola Hyperion for the control in my game. I am a rec player since 2017, and I rate myself around 3-3.5.I'm not bad mouthing the Hyperion. It is expensive for my budget. Just beware of the 6 month warranty...and yes I still love my Hyperion and I still play with it (loose edge guard and all).Happy pickleballing everyone!

This is the 4th racket I have purchased in the last year and the best right out of the box—great Control for digs and placement, super spin, and prefect power. I recommend the Swift racket over the standard Hyperion one - lighter and more controlled.

Joola is doing some amazing things with these paddles and the new Swift lineup is an exciting next step. I’ve owned both this paddle and the Solaire 14mm Swift and they both perform great. For me I much prefer this paddle as I’ve started to develop a more aggressive game and attack the ball more.

The Swift models are made to be lighter and they definitely are. My wife has the Hyperion CAS 13.5mm and it’s much heavier than this one, and while she does prefer the weight, I much prefer the lighter feel of the Swift models.

If you’re curious about this compared to the 16mm, unfortunately I’ve not tried that thickness yet but online it seems these 14mm are a more balanced option of power and control where the 16mm are more focused on control (but still have plenty of power).

Overall I love this paddle. Ended up sending the Solaire 14mm Swift back because this shape worked better for me but would give that one 5 stars as well. Lots of power, tons of spin, light and fast. Built for a more advanced player.

Note: You may hear a slight rattle in the paddle if you shake it in a quiet room. I heard this on both of my Swift models, but it shouldn’t effect performance and it’s likely due to loose glue from the Hyperfoam or edge guard.

Who can argue with the success of the pros who are sponsored by Joola? These paddles are really well designed and very high quality, no doubt. The grip is fantastic, right out of the box. If you prefer a pickleball paddle that's "long and narrow" then the Joola Hyperion CFS Swift is going to be right up your alley. But it's not the right paddle for everyone or every style of play. I'm just not sure this pro-price paddle is worth the spend.

I have hade this paddle 6 months and 21 days.
I play 2 times a week. This paddle broke under the handle.
I pulled off the grip and side guards. I removed the 4 staples holding the on the handle cap and slipped off handle that was wobbling.
To my surprise!!! The carbon fiber face only extends 1 inch into the handle. It was glued to foam. The support is by the carbon side straps that cracked from my normal use.
I am not impressed with this design.
Plus the warranty is 6 months.
I would not recommend this paddle.
It plays awesome but I’m so upset it broke with no abuse or miss treatment.

I bought a $250 SLK that was very good I must say. Lost it and it precipitated this purchase. The grip is amazing and the spin....the spin is an insane level. On a serve with side spin it would kick 2 feet and sometimes more!! Same thing with top spin. A must buy for a intermediate or advanced level.
