Review
Adhering to the formula first introduced in their highly regarded Mudpies to Magnets, the authors take a more hands-on approach to introduce preschoolers to the amazing world of science around them. Each activity is targeted to a primary age group and contains a recipe for success principles behind the activity, related areas, equipment and a step by step approach. Want to do more? The authors offer suggestions to expand upon each experiment.
More Mudpies to Magnets is divided up into useful chapters (Colors, Crystals and Creations, How Things Work . . .) for budding scientists. There is a comprehensive index.
. . . highly recommended for teachers and for parents who wish to expand their child's world. Go out and buy it. It proves what we all once knew, Science is Fun! --Children's Book Briefs (New York)

This is the best science curriculum that is very inexpensive, easy to find materials, simple to follow, and short in time sessions for young children to follow. The curriculum is divided into different science topics and within each topic, in chronological order of age beginning with age 2 to 5.
I highly recommend this series for any parent or daycare teachers looking to enrich young children with a fun, hands-on learning experience.
