After graduation they all go their separate ways. Nelli , the best friend moves to the US and eventually marries and has a son. But she keeps herself to herself and never shares her past with Clint, her husband of 15 years.
Then bad things start to happen to the now adults and as the 20th high school reunion is fast approaching. Nelli decides to go but doesn't tell Clint until he's leaving on a business trip. She plans to meet up with her old friends and confess what they know about Eva's disappearance. When Clint doesn't hear from her for several days he and his brother head to Hungary in search of answers. And he gets some very shocking surprises. But with help the mystery is eventually solved. The book is very descriptive and thought out well. It will keep you involved til the very end. I loved this book.
