Probably the best available option out there to store graded slabs.

Probably the best available option out there to store graded slabs.
I like this case. I think it works well, but do have a few points of concern that led me to deduct a star.Overall this is a great option to store PSA or Beckett graded slabs, or other prized cards stored in hard plastic holders or top loaders. You can fit quite a bit of cards and the spacer foam is a great idea to keep cards from moving around if you don't fill the case.Cons: (see photos for reference)- I would have preferred to have latches on all 4 sides of the lid for an extra measure of confidence and durability. I have the case loaded and when I try to carry it by the handle, the front of the case near the handle buckles. This is a slight concern but I don't plan on going for walks lugging this case around. You should be aware though, especially if you intend to carry your graded cards to shows and such. If the material was less plastic and more metal, I think the concern may be less.- There are 4 slots for the cards, but they are not sized equally. PSA slabs fit well, but if you add a sleeve to the slab it become snug. BGS slabs fit well in 2 of the slots, and are very snug in the other 2. They are felt lined so I'm not too concerned about it, but it would have been nice if the slots were sized equally and were sized for BGS slabs to begin with since they're slightly wider than PSA slabs.- The case comes with a large foam pad for the lid and 4 smaller foam pads to use as spacers. To store graded slabs, you have to remove the layer of foam that is in the lid. This means now there's just the lid between your cards and the outside world. Would have been better if there was even a thin layer of foam that remains. Conclusion:Despite my concerns about the lack of adequate latching (in my opinion) and how that translates over time and use, I would still recommend this case, I think it does the job very nicely and if you don't plan to go on road trips with your case of cards, it should be perfectly happy in a dark corner of your closet somewhere. If all you have are PSA graded slabs, get the case and be happy. If you have a mix bag of goodies like I do, you may need to be a bit more careful about how many cards you want to store in it. Maybe just for ultra high value cards? And don't let your kids con you into giving up space for Pokemon cards. You'll run out of room real quick.
