I have been gluten free for a very long time before I discovered I can eat organic American wheat and European wheat just fine. They do not irritate my stomach like regular American wheat does. However, old habits die hard and I still like to bake with gluten free products. I used this flour for a Tres Leches cake and a 4 layer orange creamsicle cake. They both turned out nice and light. It is good that it already has xanthan gum added in for structure. Tastes good as well such that no one knows the cakes are gluten free.

This is the best price I have been able to find for gluten-free flour! Furthermore, this flour I have found to be the best multipurpose for bread making, sweet treats, thickening up soups, and so much more. Looking at recipes that require multiple types of flour did not entice me as I did not want to have to buy several different kinds. This flour bag works well with many recipes that call for gluten-free flour!!!! Also, I've used this recipe for non-gluten free flour and it substitutes wonderfully!

Having a wheat allergy (not Celiac but an actual, anaphylactic reaction to it) as a kid that I outgrew in my teens, of course I came to fall in love with basic things like pizza, cookies, and cakes. When the wheat allergy came back with a vengeance in my 30's, you bet I missed all the things!

I have tried every GF flour blend out there on the market. I've even tried making my own "blend" from recipes online. NONE of those compare to this one. It quite literally tastes and behaves like regular wheat flour, so much so that my non-GF family can't tell the difference!

Yes, it's more expensive than regular flour, but when you can't have gluten and/or wheat, that's just one of the things you come to accept. It's a "lifestyle" for some, the only way to live for others. This flour lets you cook and bake like everyone else without that funky taste (or aftertaste!) so many GF things have!

HIGHLY recommend this GF flour!

The product comes with all the necessary basic ingredients. The cook only needs to add sugar, oil, liquid, salt and flavoring to make baked items. One ingredient that is added makes all the difference - cellulose. I have ground my flours for years and no matter what I tried, the results were everything was on the crumbly side - no gluten, of course. The King Arthur flour makes bread, cakes and buns that stay together. The price is a little steep compared to grinding your own flour but the improvement in baked products is worth it.
