The Best Thing in the WORLD... according to my dog.
This is my dog's all-time FAVORITE chew toy. Period. He is a 3 year old 58 lb. Border Collie Mix, and an aggressive chewer. I stumbled upon this toy in a store when I first got Mal, and thought it looked cool and would be interesting for him will all of the different textures and squeakers. When I gave him his first one, he went nuts! Each one lasts him about 6 months, and he plays with them pretty hard. When he gets a new one, the first thing he does is to decapitate it. He does this with all of his toys. After he has the head mostly ripped off and the nose squeaker out, I go ahead and clean up all the stuffing and proactively remove any remaining stuffing in the head. Then he usually sets to work on the other squeakers. All of this squeaker destruction takes place between intense bouts of tug and fetch and shaking. It usually does not take him long to get the squeakers out, but I am fine with this! Mal will continue to play with, chew on, and drag around this toy until it is in shreds (around 6 months or so) at which point I steal it (while he is asleep) and present him a new one the next day. I am quite sure this toy has saved my house from bored dog destruction!!!

I bought the blue dino first and it quickly became my dog's favorite toy. She's a heavy chewer and a puppy so I was concerned about how it would hold up. All things considered, it's a great toy.

What got me interested and why I think it ended up my dog's favorite is because 1- it has a lot of different textures, plush, rope, crinkle, squeaker and 2- tug. She LOVES tug so she'll bring the toy up to me all the time to play but it's small enough to throw and has a lot going on for her to entertain herself with as well.

The dino lasted about a month maybe a month and a half. In all honesty, that's pretty good considering what a beast my dog is. I bought a new one once she started getting to the stuffing. This time I went for the cow which is cute.

You can't expect a plush toy to really hold up if your dog is a chewer. That's reality. Some are definitely built to last longer but they don't last forever. I found these to be fairly well made. My biggest grief is that the little dino spikes, or cow horns, those little pieces are easy for my dog to just rip off. That's the first thing she does and I have to watch to pick them up so she doesn't eat them accidentally. After that, they last a while until she just rips a huge hole and stuffing comes out.

Tony has proved to be more than a training aid - the ropes, squeaker, crinkly noises, and length make him a brilliant and variable toy. When we want to distract our puppy from something she shouldn't have or we want her to ignore something else, the one toy she cannot resist is Tony. The different elements of the toy, the head, tail, ropes, legs mean she can bite whichever area she likes and she loves to grip his head with her front legs during a particularly exciting game of tug. All in all a brilliant buy!
