These throwing knives are the BERRIES!! Excellent quality,weight, and balanced for us throwers. This is the 3rd set I've bought, cause let's just admit it, walking back and forth all day gets old fast.
Also the Ned Foss double bit throwing axe.
I've bought several times and for good reason, they almost stick themselves. No kidding.
All of their stuff is fun to throw but these knives and those axes are my favorite. The axe is perfectly weighted.
Not like the junk SOG throwers. Those are too light and bounce back at ya faster than you threw em. It's bad enough when it happens to you, but then pass them to a friend, or the better half, and then those SOG throwers bounce back at the thrower and then you find out the true meaning of
"puckered up"
But these Ned Foss are a true work of art! They stick deep, and like I said all their stuff almost sticks itself! It's a ton of fun. So if your on the fence then take it from me, these are the ones you want so just get 2 sets now then set up cpl targets and be surprised when 3 or 4 hours fly by.

Hammer Grip
The basic throwing grip used for full turn throws. The knife is grasped as one would hold the handle of a hammer.
Spline Grip
A modified hammer grip used for full turn throws.
The knife is grasped as one would hold the handle of a hammer, except that the thumb being placed on the spline or edge of the blade.
Vertical Blade Grip
Vertical Blade Grip is used for half turn throws.
Take Care: Only for knives with non-sharpened edges.
Horizontal Blade Grip
This type of grip would be used primarily for close throws at 1/2 turn.
Note: Always keep sharp edges away from your palms and never wrap your fingers around or over sharp edges.

Worth the money, very sturdy product!
I’m glad I decided to purchase these, learning to use them has been a fun experience. They’re well-built, and inexpensive, and fun to play with. Once you get your distance figured out and placement in your hand, you can consistently stick these in your target. It came with six knives and two storage pouches, which makes it very convenient while using. If you’re looking to try your skill at throwing knives, this is a great starter set for the price. Would highly recommend.

So honestly a 4.9 overall. The blades are amazingly well-balanced, making it easy to throw from any grip. The points drop really well, and maintain their edge even after hard throws.
Only caveat is the grips--be prepared to tape. While probably more durable than loosely wrapped paracord (that seems to be the standard for commercially produced throwing knives), this synthetic rubber won't last through a 30 minute throwing session. After 3-4 throws the grips were fraying at the bottom end.
