Product Description
Note: This phone mount only can hook on horizontal air vent but it cannot be used on the vertical or round air vent.

USING TIPS:
1. First, Press the clamp arm to clamp the phone. To ensure a secure mount, press the back edge of the arm tips (not the front edge), at this point the clamping force is the maximum.
2. Please install the vent clip on the vent and make sure the clip is tightened. Be careful not to overtighten the hook to avoid damaging the vent blades
3. This car phone holder supports up to 0.4-1.2 inch long blinds and 0.13 inch thick blinds.
4. It is recommended to reconnect the vent clip every two weeks to ensure it remains stable.

The arms gripped the dual-layer case of my Google Pixel 6 Pro gently but firmly. Never once did my phone jiggle loose. The air vent hook was easy to install and worked great. I was able to tighten everything down the way I wanted it. One nice thing is that there was enough space between the vent and the back of the holder that it didn't impede the airport.
So why did I only give it three stars? One point against it was the arm length. My phone isn't dainty, but it's not that big, and there wasn't that much room to spare. More importantly, though, is that it's not easy to release the arms. The button is on the back and it's awkward - you have to press the glass front of your phone to push the button. Worse, the arms slowly creep apart; a lot of times you have to help them open up while you're already fumbling with the back button.
I am thinking about buying a different phone holder that opens up more easily, but this one works well enough that I can get by just fine - I just wish I'd bought a different brand to begin with.
