A Single Soul Audible Audiobook – Unabridged

Matt Russo knows better. Everyone does, but no one knows better than an attorney who routinely works with the fae: you watch what you say, or else you find yourself in the crosshairs of trickster magic.

Or in this case, with an angel on one shoulder and a demon on the other. And the ridiculous bickering celestial beings aren’t going anywhere until they help him change his perpetual single status. Worse, if someone finds out he used magic for any kind of gain, his personal and professional reputations might never recover.

Fortunately, his best friend and downstairs neighbor—not to mention the man he’s quietly wanted for the past five years—is smart and level-headed. If anyone can help Matt out of this fiasco, it’s Cory Miller.

Except while Cory’s happy to help Matt get rid of the pint-sized magical idiots, the only way they’re leaving is if they succeed in finding someone for Matt to love. Cory will do anything for his friend, but he’s not so sure he can take part in helping Matt find the man of his dreams. Not when he’s wished all this time that
he could fill that particular role.

But maybe this magical disaster is exactly what Matt and Cory need to realize their secret attraction is mutual.

This little story is amazing! It's hilarious and it's so much fun! Matt and Corey are adorable. I had to buy the ebook and the audiobook so I could read and listen at the same time. Michael Ferraiuolo's voice acting is superior. I love this so much! ❤️

I'm used to hundreds of pages and suffersauce galore, but this was hot and sweet and angsty, and my goodness I loved the banter between everyone! Such a sweet book. Thanks, Michael!

I imagined got Crowley and Aziraphale vibes from the Angel and the demon. Not to mention the nod to a Michael Sheen like skill with a certain Welsh word.

I don't normally give bad reviews but couldn't finish this lest I die of boredom. Lackluster characters in a meaningless round of shopping, looking at Grindr, have a misunderstanding and get together. It was just painful, man.

This is the story of a man who knows better but in the mist of blue ball shaped loneliness. He drops his guard and makes a deal with a magical creature. The magical creature in this book is of the fae kind set in modern day, she's a matchmaker with unconventional helpers.Who are set on bringing the color back into his life or balls whatever works really. Needless to say, the things we do when we are drunk should stay hidden from our professional lives, hiding a mini angel and demon on one's shoulders would be difficult but add consistent fighting like an old married couple and it’s impossible. So what does he do? He runs to the man he would like to have forever with but is too scared to leave the friend zone, to help get rid of his mini advising wingmen. Coming to his rescue seems the most natural thing in the world for his friend because that is just the kind of wonderful man he is, at least when it comes to the man he would do anything for in the world. Can the two of them see the possibilities in front of them or will they be stuck with the mini bickering wing men forever?

This story’s focal point revolves around the intriguing concept that certain individuals find themselves unable to pursue the opportunities directly within their grasp, navigating the intricacies of life's twists and turns. The author skillfully employs a delightful blend of humor and stereotypes to breathe life into the characters, steering clear of predictability and allowing their idiosyncrasies to shine through authentically. Within the tapestry of missed opportunities and comedic twists, the characters grapple with the complexities of their own inhibitions, creating a rich and relatable narrative that unfolds with both depth and levity. The story not only explores the theme of seizing the moment but also invites readers to reflect on the idiosyncrasies that make each character's journey a captivating exploration of the human experience. The heat in this book is high but not in your face. The author uses a combination of characters fantasizing and narrating to build heat and little bit of will they, won’t they anticipation to keep the story from crossing the line between too much and not enough.
Much like the collaborative masterpiece "Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter," penned by the talented duo Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman in the 1990s, this narrative promises a comparable charm and wit. Which has led to the Prime Video original series starring Micheal Sheen and David Tennant. The parallel drawn to such a beloved work suggests a quick read gem that not only entertains but also resonates with those who appreciate the clever interplay of humor, nuanced characters, and a touch of the extraordinary. Enthusiasts of Pratchett and Gaiman collaborative brilliance are sure to find this story a delightful addition to their LGBQIA repertoire, as it weaves its own unique tapestry of humor and insight.

This is quite a cute story about two cute guys, both good looking, both with decent jobs, both kind and caring but who can’t see what is in front of them - both.

What a pair of numnuts.
