    Very unique puzzles. The object is to fold the paper to complete the puzzle. And there is only one solution, which you confirm when the picture is complete AND the darker colored blocks make a perfect square on the back of the picture.The pictures are pleasant to look at. They vary from nature, animals, architectural landmarks, etc.I found the puzzles to be challenging without feeling frustrated, even when doing the hardest ones. The author recommends doing the puzzles in order (from easiest to hardest). Additionally, I think it helps if you have a general understanding of origami, as some of the solutions contain reverse folds.I highly recommend this for yourself or as a gift.

    I've always put puzzles in Christmas stockings. Now that the kids are grown, I only do a few token items in a stocking to keep up traditions. Normally, puzzles seem like a waste now, as our kids don't want to haul them home on airplanes in limited luggage space, so they leave them at our house to collect dust. These solved all of that. They were so much fun, our daughters fiddles with them for days while talking, watching movies, and just hanging out. I had divided one pack up between the stockings, without realizing that the colors indicated difficulty level. Another time, I'll just get each recipient their own pack so we don't have some people getting easy puzzles and others really hard ones (that's what I got - couldn't understand at first why one daughter was solving them with lightning speed while I was extremely 'puzzled' - til I looked closer and saw the color difference. We've now been through them all, but will probably get more next year as they were so much fun. Would also be a great travel game for a long car or airplane ride! Disposable (or not - finished puzzles can be tucked into a small space), compact, absorbing, and lots of fun. They'd be a great alternative to video games, brain-numbing scrolling, etc. Off-screen time is great for the brain - these help with that.
