This collar system is just what we were looking for to use with our Corgi. We've not had to utilize the shock part - only get his attention with the vibrate and beep. We made sure to read up on proper training with this type of collar and it's been great.

My only complaint is that the power button for the collar is on the top of the collar and I think his chin hits it and turns it off. Then, when you turn it back on, it beeps and vibrates, which isn't great when he's doing what he's supposed to. Either a silent power button located elsewhere on the collar or the ability to turn the collar on and off with the remote would be ideal.

Purchased and returned two collars before this one. One was just garbage, the next one HURT my dog (and me, when I tried it on myself.) and could not adjust it to any setting that didn't really sting. Tried this one on my arm when I first got it...PERFECT. The shock is completely variable from undetectable to very bothersome. Dialed it way down and it works EXACTLY as I'd hoped. Gets the dogs attention but no yelps of pain. Vibrate and tone is all that is needed 98pct of the time. Well made, the collar piece is lighter than the other two I'd bought..which is great as I've a smaller dog. Hightly recommend this well engineered and functional collar.

Trainer would not use this collar and transmitter. The delay between the time you press the button and it arrives at the collar was nearly 30 seconds. By the time the dog receives, the signal of the behavior to be corrected is long gone. Not a good choice!
