What's better than a Gerber paraframe knife? A "trio" kit with three of them, so I can give one to a pair of friends and still have one for myself--all at a very reasonable price.

Fits nicely in the pocket without bulge--given the slim design--or risk of accidental opening, given the stiff action. About the only place I go without it is the airport!

Overall, I like this product. I like the Gerber brand for decent quality knives at good value. The knives have the same quality and workmanship for EDC (every day carry) or having around for common uses. I have taken these outdoors quite a bit and work perfectly fine for camping and outdoor activities like fishing. I do have other specialty knives, but this product with the three sizes will cover most activities. As mentioned the product is built well, but you do have to take care of them and sharpen accordingly. For everyday use like box cutting or opening things, it works well and will last a while depending on use, but will still need sharpening as needed. These will not hold an edge as long as my more expensive knives, but at the cost/value, this does not surprise me. Comfort in hand is good for all sizes, but the largest sized knife is the most comfortably from cutting boxes to shaving/carving wood. The locking mechanism is solid and easily identifiable when opening with one hand and can be opened and closed as well.

Overall, this is a good value for a decent set of knives. If you're looking for an EDC, you can't beat this set for the price. On the flip side, if you're big into outdoor activities, you may look into specialty knives that can endure more abuse and hold an edge longer. I would recommend for EDC and light use.
