I researched all the popular options and did not want something super colorful with tons of lights and sounds. This walker is visually appealing and has tons of activities for him to use. The fact that it can turn into a cart as he grows was awesome. I also really liked the adjustable height and wheel speed options. He is able to pull himself up without it tipping over which shows that it is sturdy enough even though it is lightweight. Definitely recommend!

Get this! Don't even hesitate! It's easy to put together, has plenty of colors but isn't scary crazy colorful, and our 11 month old is OBSESSED with it. It was a wide variety of settings to change the functionality of the buttons, appropriate volume control, and keeps our little one occupied both pushing it, and also playing while sitting with it. (The board comes off.) FWIW, we had a different brand of this walker activity board for our first child, who was "meh" about that one. However, this one has been an absolute hit with our 2nd child, and we even find our older one playing with it, too.

The fact that it has a fast and slow speed setting is great for beginners and the wheels are large enough they do great on my carpet and hard floors and make transitions well.
