Product Description

The Active Jac has been a favorite on American ranches, farms, and factory floors since its release in the 70s. This womens rugged layer is made of sandstone duck, which is sanded and brushed for softness. Tough on the outside and warm on the inside, its designed with a soft flannel lining on the body plus smooth quilted nylon through the sleeves.

I was so worried that this coat wouldn't fit right because I see so many girls wearing big, manly Carhartts! I just got the coat in the mail & it fits perfectly! I'm 5ft 5in, 105 lbs and I got an XS. I usually have to get a size larger because I like my sleeves long & I feel like my shoulders are kind of broad for my frame but the sleeves are perfect and I can comfortably wear a long sleeve shirt + a hoodie underneath! This is also a great coat/style because it runs a little longer in the torso than the regular Carhartt that everyone has, it also seems a bit slimmer, which makes it look pretty cute! Super warm, love the color (I got the coal). Definitely recommend. The size chart is accurate.

Looks sturdy and feels warm. Quality product. That being said, I think the colors on here are highly, highly misleading as others have said. Very different color than what is posted. This coastline color which looks to be a light aqua is actually a dark green, murkier color than depicted. I am really very disappointed in the color compared to what is shown. I was expecting some variation but this is a completely different look altogether. Please keep this in mind when you are buying these.

I looked at the size chart before I ordered and that told me I would take a size small. It arrived today, and I'm thinking I should have ordered an extra small. The jacket feels very puffy, it's baggy in the torso area, and much tighter in the arms. My only concern is that if I were to get a size smaller, that the arms would be tigher and I wouldn't be able to wear a sweatshirt underneath it. I also saw the day after I placed my order, that Carhartt is selling this same exact jacket for $25 less than what I payed for it here.

Overall, very satisfied with the purchase. I am glad I read the reviews and followed advice about the jacket running big, because it’s definitely true. I am 5’5” 155lbs and I ordered a small. I am usually always a medium and sometimes a large in tops and jackets. The jacket is so warm and perfect for outdoor activities. The reason I am giving 4 starts is because the color is off. I orders the Woodland color which I expected to be gray, but it is much more of an olive green type of color. See picture

I was hesitant in ordering a regular size, as I am 5'9 and sometimes have to order tall sizes. I ordered the "Dusty Plum", women's size 12 and the fit was perfect (I weigh about 160). I love the color. The coat is warm and comfortable and looks good with my jeans.
I also ordered coats for my two boys who are 6'5 and 6'9, but ordered men's XLT. They LOVE the coats!
