Very disappointed! Don't waste your time or money if you are looking to get any kind of workout a real rower will give you. I bought this for my 62yr old mother who does little to no exercise and first use she complained how easy it was. 10th setting is just as easy as as the 1st. Very disappointed and am dropping it off to UPS right after this review. What a waste of time!

I was in a near-fatal pedestrian accident. I was hit by a commercial vehicle. Due to the nature of my injuries, I resigned to the fact this may be the only kind of exercise I could do, as I have problems with my knees and my neck. This product is a miracle for me. I am not a professional rower, and while this may be easy for a person like that to master, it is an awesome tool for an amature. Thumbs Up! BTW I had to use power tools to assemble. I was not expecting that, but the machine is very good quality.

This rower is horrible. It does have a sturdy and strong frame and is solidly built, but the problem is in the functioning of the machine. Even set at the highest resistance level, THERE IS NO RESISTANCE! My wife (55 years old) tried the most difficult interval training program on the machine at the highest resistance level. She did the workout for 38 minutes AND DID NOT EVEN BREAK A SWEAT. Do not buy this machine. I would test machines in a store to determine if they have an acceptable resistance level, and probably look at machines with magnetic or water resistance as air resistance (at least on this machine) is woefully lacking. NordicTrack did not stand by their 30 day money back guarantee as the manufacturer because I purchased on Amazon. Returning the item by shipping it back will be problematic if not impossible due to the size and weight of machine. I will likely have to bring to a second hand store and take a financial hit even though the machine is brand new.
