Works as well as 3M silicone carbide wet/dry paper
I do a lot of furniture finishing and depending on the finish I'm using, I can sand the finish to 1000+ and then buff with 3M Perfect It pads and buffing compound. This paper also works equally was well on metal. I just repaired some hair pin legs that came with damaged finish. Easier to fix than return - worked out fine.This paper works well for sanding between coats of polyurethane, especially water based poly that inevitably raises the grain of most wood. I've also used this sand paper on metal where finer grinds are required and it works great. I can make the paper fit most of my hand block sanders or just use it bare handed.I'll also use the higher grits for a final finish on lacquer that does not require sanding between coats. It all depends on the final look I want which is typically satin. The attached photo shows a granadillo live edge slab that I applied 5 coats of water based poly to and sanded between coats with this sandpaper. I then buffed the finish. It's not as shiny as it looks in real light as opposed to my shop multiple 6000 Kelvin LED lights.This is well priced, good quality wet or dry sandpaper. Hope that helps!

So I got this product to help me out with my airsoft gun project. Note that my airsoft gun is stainless steel so it's a good hard metal. This sand paper just went right through the paint and the metal and sanded it until it was chrome. I went from the lowest grit to the highest, sanding it, and now it's a shiny shiny chrome. I would attach a picture of it but I'm not too sure if Amazon would be okay with that because it looks quite real. But I got amazing results out of it. Even though the sandpaper may be thin, be thankful for that because you can easily get into nooks and crannies easily. You wouldn't necessarily be able to just bend sandpaper like that without it cracking or at least splitting. This is a great product and it's definitely worth the money. I'm definitely going to re-buy this product on an as needed basis. 100% five stars to you guys. It even works on my car btw, I had a few dents and I put body filler on it and I had to prep it with some sandpaper and this sandpaper worked out amazing so if you're doing automotive, or anything pretty much. This is the sandpaper for you. It's easy to apply to anything, easy to use anywhere, and easy to store in the package it comes in. Definitely recommend this product.

This is a good deal on a nice assortment of sandpaper if you need very fine grits. I must say however that the clamps on the sanding block are rather weak which I discovered when holding it sideways as I sanded. The sandpaper immediately popped out of the retaining clamps. I would still buy the sandpaper alone if it was offered but the block will likely see limited use as it can only be used in one direction.
